Getting the best views of Seville is not difficult if you rise up to the most imposing viewpoints. We visit terraces, monuments, and other heritage spaces with bird’s eye views.
Contemplating the city from the heights is a privilege not so difficult to conquer if one rises up to Seville’s most imposing viewpoints. Touching the Sevillian sky with your hands will no longer sound like a silly expression when the reader drops by these places.
Terraces, monuments, and other heritage spaces reveal the best views of Seville, copper and purple sunsets, and a relaxed atmosphere that brooks no argument. You will also find some of the most romantic places in the city at these destinations.
1. The rooftops of the Seville Cathedral
Visiting the rooftops of the Seville Cathedral is one of those plans with which you can surprise more than one resident of the city.
This tour, organized by the Cathedral Council, reveals, literally, the insides of the Sevillian temple, the most genuine, secret, and spectacular spaces to admire its monumentality from above.
Despite being one of the routes still unknown to some Sevillians, it received more than 9,800 visits during the first months of last 2022.
Tickets for this experience cost 20€ (21€ at the box office).
2. La Giralda
The Giralda has a total of 35 ramps so that the person in charge of calling the faithful to prayer could climb while riding a horse. The formidable views of Seville that visitors will find at the top of this viewpoint are unparalleled.
The general admission to climb the Giralda and visit the interior of the Cathedral is 11€.
3. Atalaya Terrace
Since its inception, it has been controversial because, in theory, no building could exceed the height of the Giralda out of respect for the heritage. We don’t know if the rules were broken to build it or if it was done while respecting the law, but what we are sure of is that its views are spectacular.
Access to the Atalaya Terrace viewpoint costs 8€ for adults and 6€ for children between 6 and 12 years old.
4. The Schindler Tower
Also known as the Tower of the Navigation Pavilion, the Schindler Tower has one of the most privileged panoramic views that can be taken of the Guadalquivir and the entire city.
The building has particular stairs (a true work of art in our opinion) and panoramic elevators that will take the curious up to one of the most surprising viewpoints in Seville.
Visiting the Permanent Exhibition of the Navigation Pavilion, which includes the Mirador Tower, costs 6€ (general admission).

5. Las Setas
Although Metropol Parasol was not the most popular space in the city in its beginnings, there is no doubt about the fame that it has been earning over the years. These gigantic mushrooms – the largest wooden monument in the world – preside over the Plaza de la Encarnación and are among the most searched terms of 2022 worldwide.
That’s right, the Setas are one of the most famous viewpoints in Seville and one of the best scenic places in the world, according to this Google Maps study. A must-visit for those who live in the city and one of the most emblematic views of Seville.
15€ general admission and free for those born or registered in Seville.
6. Torre de los Perdigones
Let’s be sensible, the Torre de los Perdigones is not one of the tallest buildings in Seville. However, the benefits of this historic space are not few either. It is one of the few industrial buildings in the capital, built in 1885 as part of the old San Francisco de Paula factory, popularly known as the Perdigones Factory.
It was one of the many foundries in the city, dedicated to the manufacture of pellets, bullets, and other lead products. From those times, this tower remains, which serves as a modest viewpoint of Seville and also has a camera obscura, an optical instrument that “draws” with light.
Going up to the viewpoint of the Torre de los Perdigones costs 2€.
