Don't Go Hungry: Discover 6 Late-night Restaurants In Lisbon Open Until 2am!

Dinner, drinks, socializing, and friends until 2 am? Come and enjoy the best of Lisbon nightlife after hours.

When you get hungry in the middle of the night, whether at home or after a night out with friends, do you know where to eat in Lisbon until the early morning?

We know: you can go to one of these open places until at least 2 am.

1 – Galeto

If you’re hungry and don’t know where to go, know that at Galeto you can eat until 2 am.

It’s one of those iconic spaces in Avenidas Novas, open since 1966. Our suggestion is to order a burger on a brioche bun with pickles and mayonnaise.

2 – Clandestino Bar

Already full, but still want to go to Bairro Alto? Don’t worry about the time, Clandestino usually closes an hour later than other bars.

It’s a cult bar on one of the busiest streets in Bairro Alto, full of drawings on the walls. Here, our highlight is the roasted chorizo and sangria.

Address: Rua da Barroca 99 (Bairro Alto)

3 – Cacau da Ribeira

Where to eat in Lisbon when you get hungry again after a well-deserved night out? Then, Cacau da Ribeira is the place to go. This bakery has the most unlikely opening hours you can imagine, but it’s very convenient for late-night appetites.

Green soup (caldo verde) and bread with chorizo is all you need at this hour. There are also Berlin balls, puff pastries, and croissants, after all, this is a Portuguese bakery.

Address: Avenida 24 de Julho 126

4 – Pizza a Pezzi

At Pizza a Pezzi, you choose the size and variety of pizza slices you want, rectangular, square, or larger sizes for the family. All because here the pizza is sold by weight.

It’s located near Bairro Alto, in Príncipe Real, and you can order and take away, or enjoy the counter at the entrance to bite and savor one of these delicious pizzas.

Address: Rua D. Pedro V 84 (Príncipe Real)

5 – Tambarina

It’s worth going to Rua do Poço dos Negros, near the Santos area, just to try the cachupa at Tambarina, whether it’s the meat, fish, or special one.

But there’s also muamba (an Angolan dish), cassava with beef, fried chicken, and even a delicious chicken soup.

As any good Cape Verdean house should, music couldn’t be missing. The relaxed and lively atmosphere takes you to the islands of Cape Verde without leaving Lisbon.

Address: Rua do Poço dos Negros 94 (Santos)

6 – Café do Paço

With a typically English style, Café do Paço, in Anjos, offers excellent service to those looking for a place to eat in Lisbon with good food until 2 am.

The delicious sirloin steak with fries and spinach or the gratin shrimp crepes are both incredible and worth mentioning.
